Filler

Again, WHERE IS HAIBARA

Chiba looks skinnier than usual

Every time Conan does something that causes Ayumi to run off crying he literally does not care like???

I swear EVERY time Ayumi befriends someone in a filler episode they die or kill someone like can she catch a break!! Another harbinger of death I swear
Do feel bad for her tho

the writer is so biased, every time Ran says with no basis whatsoever that this person is innocent because they are a nice person she's 100% correct and conan will be so supporting of even if he doesn't agree, but If Ayumi does the same thing she's wrong and childish

Ceiling-fan25 • 1 year ago

Wait you're so right! I've never even noticed that before

strange guy • 1 year ago

I assume it’s because Conan cares for ran a lot

strange guy • 1 year ago

Sometimes ran isn’t correct however I will agree that sometimes she is right

strange guy • 1 year ago

I kinda don’t mind it sometimes so far conan has usually been right the time he cared less about being a detective was that case during that restaurant case with this person hiding a lot of jewels underground

yup, Haibara wasn't in school at all this time. we didn't even get her kuudere 'i'm not interested so i'm going home.' line she gives to the DBC.

Chiba used to be plumper? hmm. i know he's not a skinny rail like Takagi but he's still got round cheeks. this new OP has him munching on food through the whole thing. ;) maybe he's stress eating? for a second there i thought Chiba had a little crush on the bakery girl. they seemed to have a 'moment' when she first came out of the apartment building.

Shin vs Ayumi? when is that little girl ever right about human nature? she's an optimist and sees the good in everything. where Shin is a realist and knows there's both bad and good in everything.

Gramma Crow deserved to die right then and there, face down in the dirt, greedily scrabbling around in the filth under that broken fridge. not only was she breaking several laws and city codes by rooting through people's garbage, she purposefully with malice aforethought SLANDERED that poor bakery shop girl in public at her job!

also, that pot fracture pattern, it is entirely fictional. period. no scientific evidence on visual inspection could conclude that pot was purposefully dropped upright on Gramma Crow's head. so Conan's whole logic thread was faked by the writers from that singular point.

I feel like the guy forgets that haibara isn’t adventurous all the time and to be fair she sometimes doesn’t do anything in a case

LesK • 1 year ago

she has been getting more and more... 'input' after the 400's... but the little 'snide jokes' she pulls to 'yank Shin's chain' because he keeps shoving his 'go research this for me?' or 'can you hack into this thing for me?' favors he has to ask her are funny jokes. 'What am I? Your secretary now?' and such. :D

i was actually researching recent manga chapter numbers, recent tankobon volume numbers, chapter titles, and comparing them to the 1000's series of anime to see where the 'plotlines' and 'anime episode titles' were coinciding with each other. i'm guesstimating from that research that Aoyama is not quite ahead of the anime enough right now with manga content for TMS to discontinue broadcasting reruns along with anime-original episodes on a weekly basis. i think Aoyama needs around another six months' worth of publishing to get REALLY far ahead of the anime.

LesK • 1 year ago

also, i quick-read a recent chapter of Aoyama's manga... the 'beach shack/restaurant murder'... i forget the title or the number... and Haibara just rattles off a HUGE chunk of exposition about... well her scientific stuff in her brain... i wasn't reading crazy closely... but if i remember right, her text bubbles/speech went on for at least 3 panels if i remember right.

Sekai • 2 years ago

I don't know when I'd really say this but I'll say it now, WHY ARE THE WOMEN CHARACTERS AND EVEN THE SIDE CHARACTERS SO PRETTY IN THIS ANIME????!!! You're playing my heart

strange guy • 1 year ago

That’s aoyoma design but they usually look the same

OPWOLEZ • 3 months ago

Ayumi is growing up real fast.

Satilinethejay • 9 months ago

21:17, Ayumi's so right. 22:04, I feel bad for Ayumi. 22:19, Conan~

Sekai • 2 years ago

Every character that Ayumi knows and met died or imprisoned. Unlucky

strange guy • 1 year ago

I find it odd that ayumi is always gotten be involved with someone

strange guy • 1 year ago

Seriously why do most cases with the detective boys take place in a hotel

TryingToSolveConanCases • 1 year ago

3:11 - I like the case buildup
7:23 - Usually, accidents are not murders in these cases, and we have a clear indicator of the victims habits.
9:02 - At least it was obvious to the police.
9:46 - "The pots were hanging right side up, why is the impact up side down?"
10:50 - And so, the viewers were reminded of the construction site once again.
12:13 - Well, that comment was wrong, but same proposition.
15:30 - I am going to asume that that's a lottery ticket only because of the conan hint for this episode. If you were to put one stuck onto the fridges legs, then you'd be able to bring them into that spot.
16:30 - I guess we'll never know what that last piece of evidence is..
16:54 - nevermind
18:01 - Hey, I didn't think it would be actual fishing,

Thoughts: The case was pretty okay. I mean it was filler, but yeah, wasn't able to get this one right.
